Where on a golf hole is the best location for a homesite?
The right side of a hole is the worst because more people slice. But that does mean that the left side is good. I believe the best place is behind a the tees. Behind the green is OK but often the golf course architect will add rolls or plant trees to frame the hole, blocking your view of the hole.
Another area that is good is down the fairway on the left side, about 100 yards from the tees. This should allow a nice view without being in the line of fire.
