Hokuli'a - Kailua-Kona, HI

The community of Hokuli`a consists of 1,550 acres spanning three spectacular miles along the Kona Coast of the Island of Hawai`i. Its setting is graced with a remarkably sheltered climate that provides sun and gentle coastal breezes, ideal year-round conditions for outdoor living, golf and water pursuits, free of the strong winds that sometimes affect golf in many other areas of Hawai`i. Located just minutes from the charming coastal town of Kailua-Kona, Hokuli`a provides convenient access to town galleries, shops, dining, culture and quality healthcare facilities. The Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at The Club at Hokuli`a rises from sea level to approximately 400 feet, with every hole framed by a dramatic ocean view. The course is the only private, oceanside golf course on the island. It was Nicklaus’ first private course in Hawai`i. The fishing and snorkeling waters off of Hokuli`a are considered among the best in Hawai`i and Members of The Club at Hokuli`a are able to take advantage of these water pursuits aboard the Club's two sport-fishing boats.

Planned amenities include the Golf Clubhouse and Ocean Club facility. Both were designed by Francis Oda, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Group 70 International. Group 70 is an internationally renowned design firm. The Ocean Club would be located on approximately three acres of oceanfront property with casual dining and a formal adult pool; 20,000 square foot, sand-lagoon swimming pool with sandy beach; and keiki (for kids) pool. Park, tennis garden and spa and fitness services are also planned. The Ocean Club and Golf Clubhouse are planned amenities of The Club at Hokuli`a currently under construction.
